Vegetarian Black Beans & Rice Bowl From Skyline Chili

I am currently visiting family in my hometown of Cincinnati, and as any Ohio native knows, no trip to the Queen City is complete without a stop at this restaurant. Luckily, Skyline make a vegetarian chili with the same spices as the regular. Just ask for the Vegetarian Black Beans & Rice Bowl with no sour cream and no cheese, then add tomatoes and extra onion to make it deliciously vegan and veggie-ful.

Carol’s Daughter Monoi Repairing Leave-In Conditioner

My mother introduced me to this product after she purchased a set of Carol’s Daughter products from HSN. She gave me the Monoi Repairing Leave-in Conditioner because it made her hair too greasy. But for me, it works well to tame fly-aways and smoothen my locks. I simply spray it a few times around my head, comb it through, and either air or blow-dry depending on my mood. I love it! This product contains no alcohol, parabens, petroleum, mineral oil, or artificial colors, and it’s cruelty-free!

 

Alba Botanica Hawaiian Cocktail Body Wash in Exfoliating Lava Flow

Whenever I use this body wash in the shower, I love how amazing the bathroom smells for an hour after! There is something about this Alba Botanica body wash that just smells and feels so good. It has a luxurious fruity smell thanks to strawberry, papaya, banana and mango fruit extracts. Also, it contains no parabens, phthalates, artificial colors or SLS, and the product is 100% vegetarian and cruelty-free!

Zigi Soho Black Ankle Boots with Chunky, Walkable Heels

Black ankle boots with chunky heels are all the rage right now, which is perfect for me because the New York City streets are not kind to heels and new shoes. I have been on the lookout for ankle boots with a thick heel that have some rubber at the bottom for good traction, and I finally found a non-leather pair at DSW in Crestview Hills, Kentucky…ON SALE. Don’t you just love when that happens? Gotta love the clearance rack! The ones I bought are from the brand Zigi Soho.
