I am thrilled to join the Influenster community as a reviewer and product sampler! Shortly after signing up I received an Influenster Summer Splash VoxBox & was pleased to find several vegan and cruelty-free products inside.
Not all of the brands Influenster works with are vegan, but Influenster does represent many brands that have vegan products. For the products I receive and review for Influenster, I will focus on vegan and cruelty-free products, and I will note in the blog post when a product is not vegan.
Here are the items I received in my recent Summer Splash VoxBox:
wet n wild Photo Focus Cucumber Water Drop Primer and 3-in-1 Primer Water
I love the wet n wild Photo Focus Water Drop Primer! It has a light cucumber sent and does not irritate my sensitive skin. I like to mix this primer with my BB cream or CC cream to create a smooth foundation finish on my face. The 3-in-1 Primer Water is nice for a cooling touch-up before applying makeup. Both are cruelty-free and vegan.
Eva NYC Mane Magic 10-in-1 Shampoo and Conditioner
I also liked the Eva NYC Mane Magic 10-in-1 Shampoo & Conditioner. The shampoo gave my hair a soft feeling without weighing it down. The conditioner helped to de-frizz my hair without making it greasy. I like the soft, shiny feel this duo lends to my fine, thin hair. I love that the formula is vegan, cruelty-free, sulfate-free and paraben-free.
Country Crock Plant Butter
It’s cool to see Country Crock adding vegan products to their line up! Their Plant Butter line is made with plant based oils and features oils from avocados, olives, and almonds. I got the Olive Oil blend.
Country Crock says their Plant Butter “tastes like dairy butter and is excellent for cooking, baking and spreading. It is Plant-Based, dairy-free and gluten-free. In addition, Country Crock Plant Butter production results in less than half the greenhouse gas emissions of dairy butter production.”
PRID Homeopathic Drawing Salve
Unfortunately, this Prid Homeopathic Drawing Salve product is not vegan, but I wanted to include everything that was given to me in the VoxBox. Check out the ingredients of this formula. What do you all think? It certainly is better than some other products on the market. But I think this brand could do better and re-formulate as not only a homeopathic brand, but sa proud vegan one, too!
Kiss lash Couture Naked Drama False Lashes
I am not a false lash person and have never used them. I have not tried these and actually gave them away to a friend because I don’t use falsies. However, it’s cool to see that this brand KISS makes a pair that is supposed to look like real mink but are actually cruelty-free.
Have you tried any of these products? I received them for free for testing purposes from Influenster.
