I recently joined the Influenster community as a reviewer. First, Influenster sent me The Summer Splash VoxBox. Recently, they sent me the Squad Ghouls VoxBox.
Not all of the brands Influenster works with are vegan, but they do represent many brands that have vegan products. If I receive a non-vegan product in my box, I will note that in the blog post.
Here are the items I received in my recent Influenster Squad Ghouls VoxBox:
Source Naturals Wellness Formula Herbal Defense Complex
I asked Source Naturals if the vitamin D3 in this product is derived from animals. They have not responded to me. If I had to guess, this product is probably NOT vegan. Source Naturals does carry some vegan products, which they list on their website in a dedicated vegan section. For that reason I thank Influenster for introducing me to this brand, even though not everything they carry is vegan. At least they are making a step by creating a vegan product line. Let’s urge Source Naturals to go completely vegan!
eos 100% Natural Shea Lip Balm
The lip balm they sent me is not vegan. The brand eos does carry a few products that seem to have all-vegan ingredients. Plus: eos states on the packaging that it’s cruelty-free. Strict vegans would not use anything that contains honey. Some people who consider themselves more plant-based or a conscious consumer might not have a problem with this balm. It’s organic, 100% natural and made with sustainable shea, so it’s better than some lip balms that don’t even try to be natural or cruelty-free. Props to eos for this step of making an organic, natural line. Now, eos, please strive to make ALL of your products 100% vegan!
Wet n Wild Megaglo Highlighting Powder
Finally, a 100% vegan product! I’m happy my VoxBox included this highlighter from wet n wild. The label clearly states the product is “cruelty-free” and “vegan”. Put this shimmery white color on the inner corners of your eyes to make them pop. This color is called “Caught in Your Web.” The skull imprint in this highlighter is a cute touch.
Note: I received these products free for testing purposes from Influenster.
