Food Review – Farmer’s Pantry Cornbread Crisps

Review – Farmer's Pantry Cornbread Crisps

School children and college kids are back in class, which means quick, travel-friendly snacks for those busy grab-n-go days are in high demand. Tired of veggie chips and veggie sticks? Try something a little different like cornbread crisps from Farmer’s Pantry.

Farmer’s Pantry Cornbread Crisps come in two vegan flavors: original and jalapeno, as well as two sizes: regular and bite size. The regular size crisps come in larger bags while the bite-size pieces come in smaller bags that are ideal for throwing in your bag as a snack or as an accompaniment to a lunchbox.

Review – Farmer's Pantry Cornbread Crisps

Cornbread crisps taste like someone took fresh-baked cornbread and baked it into tasty, cracker-like bites. If you love cornbread and crunchy snacks, you’re bound to enjoy these. I liked them just OK, but some of my friends really enjoyed them. It just depends on how much you like that rich cornbread-y taste.

Unfortunately, this snack is not USDA organic or non-GMO verified by the Non-GMO Project, which are two labels I look for when purchasing snacks. However, the company does proudly grow all ingredients in America.

Nutrition-wise, these are not the healthiest snack on the shelf, but they are better than many of the other snack options out there. Take a look at the nutrition facts and ingredient lists below for the original and jalapeno flavors.

Farmer’s Pantry also makes a honey butter flavor, but they are not vegan.
