March 4-8 marked the 2015 Natural Products Expo West in Anaheim, California. I wish I could have gone to this event, but because I wasn’t there in person, of course I’ve been following the expo news on social media. From what I’ve seen, it looks like this is a great year for vegan food.
The Natural Products Expo West event is an opportunity for natural food and other product companies to showcase their stuff. Since the expo is focused on natural products, many vegan food brands show up to sample their food. Here’s a few of them.
Daiya Cheezy Mac, Cheezecake and Pizza
Daiya, maker of vegan cheese alternatives, is getting into the frozen mac n’ cheese game. Their three flavors are Deluxe Cheddar, Deluxe Alfredo, and Deluxe White Cheddar Veggie Medley. Plus, cheezecake and pizza?! Yum!

Mediterranean Snacks Bean Stalks
These snacks from Mediterranean Snacks are non-GMO and gluten-free. They seem like a good alternative to potato chips and come in sea salt and BBQ flavors.

Brad’s Raw Foods Broccoli Poppers
This raw snack comes in Pop’n Hot and Cheese Louise flavors. I’ve had many kale chips over the past couple years, so I’d love to see what dried broccoli bites taste like for a change of pace.

Field Roast Chao Slices
These slices hit stores in 2014 and I’ve never tried them, but what from I’ve heard, vegans love this cheese substitute! The flavors come in unique flavors like Tomato Cayenne, Coconut Herb, and Creamy Original.

Tofurky Slow Roasted Chick’n
Tofurky has released a lot of cool products in the past couple of years, and now they have a slow-roasted chick’n product. The three flavors are Tandoori, Thai Basil, and Lightly seasoned. I’d love to try the first two!
