A new bread line that is both vegan and allergy-friendly recently hit several stores on the East coast. If you’re not concerned about allergies but just want to eat more plant-based or gluten-free, switching your bread brand is a great way to get started!
BFree Foods makes wraps, rolls, bagels, sandwich bread and more in both white and whole wheat varieties. My favorite was the Soft White Sandwich Loaf and the Brown Seeded Rolls, both of which did not fall apart when I was eating them. The rolls were surprisingly chewy for having no gluten. Eat them with soup or an entree, or cut them in half to create mini sandwich or slider buns.
