As a frequent traveler, I love snacks that are easy to take on-the-go and also provide nutrition and energy. Pistachio Chewy Bites make the cut. They’re all-natural, gluten-free, dairy-free and made up of more than 50% pistachios.
Setton Farms Pistachio Chewy Bites pack several health benefits. They are certified by the American Heart Association Food Certification Program and may reduce the risk of heart disease and may lower blood pressure. They also are free of cholesterol, trans fat, additives, preservatives, gluten and dairy. Plus, they’re low-glycemic and contain six grams of protein per serving.
One of my favorite parts about this snack is that it’s travel-friendly. Each pack contains two individually-wrapped pieces so you can have one and save one for later. Taste wise, they’re very good. I enjoyed these when I was waiting at the airport over the holiday season, and they hit the spot with their chewiness.
These bites are made of roasted unsalted pistachios, dried cranberries {sugar, sunflower oil}, agave syrup, brown rice syrup, sunflower oil, cranberry flavor and sea salt.
On their website, Setton Farms says, “When you choose Pistachio Chewy Bites, instead of empty calorie snacks like chips or candies, you gain the powerful benefits of more than 30 different vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants contained in pistachios and cranberries. Portion controlled, smarter snacking helps to lower body weight and reduces the likelihood of obesity…Our simple, all natural bites provide a great balance of carbohydrates, protein and fat for sustainable energy during exercise, work, or play.”

I am trying to find a replacement for the nut bar I used to eat since the flavor has been discontinued. This looks like it could work.
