I have a sweet tooth, so I was happy to try Mini Coco-Roons from Wonderfully Raw Gourmet Delights. I give them two thumbs up for sure — these little bags of superfood sweet treats are both tasty and wholesome. Win win!

Having a sweet tooth can often clash with my desire to live a healthy, holistic lifestyle and keep my body looking nice. That’s why I love finding new treats like Coco-Roons that will satisfy my sugar craving without de-railing my health progress.

With Coco-Roons, I can check off the major points I look for when purchasing packaged food. These snacks are organic, vegan, non-GMO certified and made with real ingredients. As an added bonus, they are also suitable for those following a Paleo diet or a live/raw diet.

Don’t let all of these healthy terms fool you into thinking these snacks won’t taste good. I enjoyed both the Brownie and Lemon Pie flavors I received in the mini versions. What makes them so good is probably the quality of the ingredients like organic coconut, organic almond flour, cold-pressed coconut oil and unfiltered organic Vermont maple syrup. I’ll take those over artificial flavors any day!

The snacks are like a cross between a coconut macaroon, a muffin and a cookie that you can enjoy any time of day. I found myself eating some with my coffee as a midmorning snack, as a dessert after dinner, and as a little afternoon pick me up while blogging.
