If you think vegan food is boring or not flavorful, think again! The Bold Flavored Vegan Cooking cook book is a great resource for spicing up your recipe repertoire.
ABOUT THE BOOK
In Bold Flavored Vegan Cooking, author Celine Steen, founder of the popular food blog Have Cake Will Travel, embraces dynamic seasoning with umami-rich, meat-free ingredients like dried shiitake mushrooms, tamari, miso and matcha. Celine adds new levels of flavor to your favorite dishes with unique combinations of aromatic spices, from Szechuan peppercorn to dried árbol chiles.
MY OVERALL IMPRESSION
This book is a nice addition for cooks who haven’t experimented with vegan food and want to give it a try. While new vegans will certainly get a lot out of this book, I think seasoned cooks who are skeptical of veganism will really have fun with this.
