Fabulous Things I Love This Week
Fast Food Restaurants Catering to Plant-Based Customers
Recently, we’ve seen both White Castle and Taco Bell make changes that make it clear they are listening to customer demand for better and more clearly labeled vegan and vegetarian menu items.
For the Love of Food and Yoga: A Celebration of Mindful Eating and Being
I recently received a press copy of this book and absolutely love it! For the Love of Food and Yoga is comprised of 100 “YogiBites”—a collection of time-tested yoga teachings—paired with 100 original recipes that are vegetarian, vegan, or raw. It’s one of the coolest cookbooks I’ve received since it features both the recipes and the yoga aspect.
Love Grace Organic Herbal Energy Mate
I recently got to try each flavor of Love Grace’s newest product — a line of organic herbal energy drinks that are sold exclusively at Whole Foods Market. My favorite was the Mate flavor, which is made with yerba mate, pineapple and lemon.
ALOHA Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Protein Bar
I was hooked on this ALOHA protein bar from the first bite. I’ve shared news about this company many times with you all since I’m a Brand Ambassador for ALOHA and huge fan of their Daily Good Greens and Superfood Chocolate. Now, I’m obsessed with their new protein bars. Choose between Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip and Vanilla Almond Crunch (or get both!). You can save 20% on your ALOHA purchase by entering the code LAZYVEGAN at checkout!
Lip Radiance by Melanie Mills in Uncontrollable
Infused with natural botanicals, Lip Radiance is a highly-pigmented, lasting gloss. I received the Uncontrollable shade (a poppy purple-pink color) in a recent Vegan Cuts Beauty Box. I wore this lip color for my sister’s bachelorette party last weekend; we went out in downtown Indianapolis and this color was perfect for the occasion!

I am biased, but I think plant protein is the best way to fuel up for the gym! What’s your favorite protein bar?

I only consume natural protein no supplements. Only ones I’ve made myself are peanut butter flatjacks with almonds
