Bareburger isn’t a strictly vegan restaurant, but they offer several plant-based options. Everything on the menu is organic and all-natural.
Bareburger is one of my favorite places to go with meat-eating friends in NYC because the all-natural organic restaurant offers both meat burgers and veggie burgers, so we can all eat happy.
The restaurant offers two different vegan veggie patties – farmer’s quinoa and black bean. I like the farmer’s quinoa patty, which is made from organic green wheat freekah, organic quinoa, organic brown rice, oat bran ,whole wheat flour, wheat gluten, English peas, carrots, Spanish onions, red bell pepper, sun-dried tomato, golden raisins, cinnamon, grape seed oil, sea salt, filtered water, spices.

I always order my burger on the vegan sprout bun but often change up my topping selection each visit. Recently, I got the green hummus for the first time. It was OK; it’s a nice addition but I think I prefer hummus with veggies or bread as its own meal, not as a condiment on top of a veggie burger. However, getting sprouts, pineapple, pickles and red onion was a great choice.
You can build your own ideal veggie burger from the many toppings on the menu. Bareburger has several locations throughout NYC and in some other U.S. states, as well.
What veggie burger is your favorite lately? Do you have any suggestions for what I can try next?

Looks delicious! One of my goals is to live in (or near) a big city one day where vegan restaurants are super easy to find; I bet NYC is great!

Yes there are several strictly vegan restaurants here, and many other restaurants offer vegan or vegetarian options, as well. It’s awesome to have so many choices!
