It’s disappointing when a vegan/vegetarian restaurant you like goes out of business! I’m sad to say farewell to Maimonide of Brooklyn (M.O.B.), a delicious place in Boreum Hill that was known for serving “vegan food for carnivores.”
M.O.B. will be closing at the end of July for unknown reasons. They also closed their locations in Paris, France. It’s too bad!
My favorite item on their menu was the MOB Dog Deluxe, which is a spiced carrot, mushroom and chickpea dog with mustard, ketchup, and Brooklyn Brine sauerkraut relish on a house made sweet potato dog roll.
Other menu items included veggie burgers, mac & cheese, salads, flatbreads and soup.
Luckily, I got to eat there one last time this month before they close their doors for good. Goodbye, M.O.B.!

I’m letting you now that MOB became an hotel !
There is one in Paris and one in Lyon already, and many more to come in the US !!
