My kind of pizza has always included NO cheese for as long as I can remember. There’s just something about melted cheese that ruins a pizza for me. I know most people are like “are you crazy?! Cheese is the best part of pizza!” I know, I hear you, most people love their cheese on their pizza. But I’ve just always liked the flavor and texture of the bread, veggies and sauce on its own, so it’s more like a flatbread.
Yes, it’s safe to say I am opinionated about my pizza. So when I found out that Domino’s had a vegan crust option, I had to try them out.
Not every crust item on the Domino’s Pizza menu is dairy-free and vegan, but both their gluten-free and thin crusts contain no animal products. Domino’s thin crust is very thin and crunchy, almost like a cracker. If you like the doughy texture of big slices, this might not be for you. But you like the edges of pizza crusts, however, you will probably like it.
I order peppers, onions and no cheese. I alternate between banana peppers + onions combo and green peppers + onions combo, just depending on my mood. Sometimes I even add in some spinach when I feel like paying that ridiculous extra topping charge (which is usually never).
That brings me to my complaint about ordering vegan from Domino’s Pizza — since I’m not ordering cheese, I wish they would give me a third topping option without charging extra. When you look at these pizzas, they do look a bit topping sad, don’t they? Without the cheese, I just wish they could give a girl a few spinach leaves to bulk things up a bit, you know?
Despite my complaints, it’s nice to have a vegan option that is available throughout the USA. Plus, they are open in my area of NYC until 3am, which nice for late weekend nights.
Have you tried Domino’s vegan thin crust pizza? What are you favorite toppings?

We finally got a dominos near me and I tried it out today! I used one of their online coupons, 2 large any toppings for $10.99 each. I just did two of the same with garlic, onions, roasted red peppers, mushrooms, black olives and spinach. Their up charge for extra toppings must be pretty wild because apparently I saved $25 on my $22 order by using that coupon. Somehow with the coupon it was cheaper for 2 ‘any topping’ pizzas than just ordering one vegan pizza with all the veggies i wanted. Weird, but okay. Now I have pizza for tomorrow!
