Scream Queens

Did anyone else watch the pilot of Scream Queens this week? Ryan Murphy is the creator of this show, and he’s the executive producer of Glee and American Horror Story, which I love, so I figured I’d like Scream Queens, too. And I did! This show is pretty cool; it combines the best of comedy, thriller and horror, featuring stars like Jamie Lee Curtis, Emma Roberts, Lea Michele and Keke Palmer.

Mob Dog Deluxe From M.O.B. Brooklyn

My boyfriend and I recently had dinner at Maimonides Of Brooklyn, AKA M.O.B., a kick-ass vegan restaurant in Brooklyn that serves wholesome comfort food. I ordered the MOB Dog Deluxe, which is a spiced carrot, mushroom and chickpea dog with mustard, ketchup, and Brooklyn Brine sauerkraut relish on a house made sweet potato dog roll. It was delicious! Definitely check out M.O.B. if you live near NYC.

Shangri-La Vegetarian Restaurant in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn

I live pretty deep in Brooklyn, so I usually have to take a little hike to get to the cool vegan restaurants around NYC. (Anyone know of the musical Avenue Q? Yeah, I’m basically down there if it existed haha.) So, I’m pumped that Shangri-La Vegetarian Restaurant just announced their grand re-opening near me in Bay Ridge. I’ve already ordered take out from there twice…one day I ordered green tea noodles and satay tempeh, and the other day I ordered mixed steamed veggies with brown rice and brown sauce.
