Happy Thanksgiving! I Celebrated in NYC With Vegan Dinner & Dessert From The Cinnamon Snail

Happy Thanksgiving! I Celebrated Vegan-Style in NYC With Food From The Cinnamon Snail

Happy Thanksgiving! Today, I celebrated the holiday by eating vegan food from The Cinnamon Snail, which is a bomb ass food truck in NYC. It’s seriously some of the best vegan food in this city, and they were offering special Thanksgiving dinners, sides, donuts and pies for pickup this year.

My boyfriend surprised me last month by ordering this vegan Thanksgiving meal. My family and most friends are not vegan or vegetarian, so ordering this meal from The Cinnamon Snail was a great way for me to dine with others who were eating turkey while not worrying about what I could and couldn’t eat. It’s so nice to have a supportive guy who goes out of his way to accommodate my lifestyle. He’s the best. ❤

So here’s what we got from The Cinnamon Snail for Thanksgiving:

Individual Gluten-Free Thanksgiving Dinner — Rosemary Hempseed Crusted Tofu with Roasted Root Vegetables, Kale, Parsnip Bread Pudding and Cranberry Orange Relish.

Big thanks to my boyfriend for ordering this for me. I’m thankful to have a thoughtful boyfriend and for the privilege to enjoy some of the best vegan food in NYC today.

Did you have a vegan Thanksgiving? What did you eat and/or cook today? I’d love to know how you celebrated this holiday in a compassionate way! No turkey is needed when you have plants, right?

Ahimsa and Happy Thanksgiving!

Looks good and you’re right it makes it so much easier to enjoy Thanksgiving without having to ask the hostess all the time what is in a particular dish. I had lots of veggies and I baked a vegan carrot cake so I was able to have desert with everyone. It’s not difficult, it’s a matter of being prepared. Happy Day After….. Hope you’re having a relaxing day.
